A weekend in Zakopane: a two-day plan without rushing

What can you see in Zakopane in two days?

One valley, one viewpoint and one evening in town. Trying to fit Morskie Oko, Kasprowy Wierch and Krupowki into two days means driving from car park to car park.

Saturday

Morning. Koscieliska Valley - about 16 minutes from our apartments. A wide, easy track along the stream, with the Mrozna Cave and Hala Ornak on the way.

Afternoon. Back to town and Krupowki - 5 minutes by car.

Sunday

Kasprowy Wierch - Kuznice is 12 minutes away; the cable car climbs to 1987 m. Book tickets in advance.

Or Gubalowka - 5 minutes away, a funicular and a panorama of the whole range.

What not to plan

Morskie Oko. The drive alone is 1 hour 20 minutes each way plus 9 km on foot - a full day, not a Sunday before heading home.
